Details of Cleaning of Water Tanks at Kashmere Gate Bus Station New Delhi

Drinking water and washroom facilities are available in every bus station in India. But we do not know whether the water we are using is clean or not, or when the water tanks from which this water is coming have been cleaned.

To check this an RTI was filed at Kashmere Gate Bus Station New Delhi seeking details as mentioned below :-

• The RTI is first filed with Delhi Transport Corporation.
• DTC transferred it to the Transport Department.
• The Transport Department transferred it to the Public Works Department.
• Public Works Department transferred it to Public Works Department(PWD) - Engineer in Chief.
• Public Works Department(PWD) - Engineer in Chief transferred RTI to PIO Circle North East.
• Finally PIO North Circle answered the above RTI as follows :-

  The information sought in this RTI does not comes under the jurisdiction of this office.

Conclusion

• No authority has been successful in giving proper reply to this RTI.
• We have filed the first appeal.
• We will update as soon as we get an answer.
