Conclusion
- As we see here the RTI data is only for 2 month.
- The Government of India spent more than Rs 64 lakhs (includes rent and taxes) on the stay of its embassy officials/staff in a small country in just 2 month.
- So if we estimate the expenditure for the whole year, then this amount will be very high.
- Over Rs.3 Lakhs spent by the Government of India on travel expenses (home leave, transfer passage, emergency passage) of Embassy officials/staff within just 2 month.
- But through this RTI it is not understood that why no expenditure was made on the food of the officials/staff of the embassy. Whether the cost of food for Indian officials/staff is borne by the Egyptian government.
